Knowledge and movement are the most powerful tools I use as a clinician to help people living with pain. Knowing what pain is and what pain is not and what pain may or may not mean, gives people the ability to move forward with their lives. Learning safe, meaningful ways to move gives people a place to begin moving forward and can open pathways to move forward in positive ways. Once people find these pathways, they can begin to take control of their pain in some ways, and move toward living the way they want to again.
